The 12V DC, 5 stages pump for groundwater’s sampling with a maximum delivery height of 50 metres is provided as standard with a 50 metres cable, equipped with two-way terminal connectors, easy to couple, which can be used only with the 12V Pump Booster. The pump is also equipped with an interchangeable suction filter.The 12V DC, 5 stages pump is a multistage pump working with counterclockwise rotation, directly coupled to special submersible engines. The pump achieves the performance indicated in the table below only with fully charged battery. When the voltage indicator on the Pump Booster signals a value equal to or less than 11,5V, it is necessary to replace the battery with a fully charged one. 12 V automatic and submersible pump for the recovery of LNAPL.

HYDRO/P1A is a device for the recovery of LNAPL, equipped with elements dedicated to the recognition of air/water/product and stop and automatic restart systems. The device works with AC 220V electrical control panel that controls the pick-up equipment, which operates in DC 12V. The equipment is provided with a maximum delivery height of 5 bars (reference data: flow rate of 2,0 l/min with 1 bars delivery height). The control panel is normally made in IP55 version for outdoor installation; if required, it can be made in an explosion-proof Exd version. 12V Low Flow Controller

12V Low Flow Controller for the 12V Sampling Pump and the 12v Vacuum Pump.

The Low Flow Controller 12V is a voltage/Ampère changer. It can work with the 12V Submersible Sampling Pump (mod. Hydrogea) or with the 12V Vacuum Pump. It allows to vary the rotation speed of the rotor and therefore the sampling pump flow or of the vacuum pump flow. The controller achieves the performance indicated below only with a fully charged battery. Always control that the positive ( ) and negative (-) polarities of the battery are respected. Do not use the controller in case of: liquids presence or use for prolonged periods of more than 1 continuous hour. USEIt is recommended to verify that the voltage controller is not exposed to water. Connect the Low Flow Controller 12V to the power supply entering its male and female bipolar connectors between the 12V Sampling Pump or the 12V  Vacuum Pump and the two clips, making sure that the polarities are respected. Switch on the controller via the changer/switch. Switch off the circuit always via the changer/switch. The Low Flow Controller 12V is protected by a 12A fuse.

EVO 12 V PUMP BOOSTER

Flux regulator for the EVO pump with 50 metres delivery height.

The 12V EVO Pump Booster is a flux regulator exclusively dedicated at the use of the EVO 12V DC pump with 50 metres delivery height. It is equipped with two-poles female connectors that can be used only with the EVO 12V DC pump. The power supply requires a 12V battery (as for a car: the two pliers must be linked respecting the polarities red ( ) and black (-) on the battery). In case of incorrect use of the indicated polarities, the regulator is furnished with a fuse protection. The 12V Pump Booster regulator is supplied with a display indicating the battery charge during its use. When the voltage indicated on the display is equal to or less than 11,5V, it is mandatory to stop immediately the pumping in order to prevent the battery from being irremediably damaged. The battery must be replaced with a fully charged one. The regulation is carried out by the knob that serves as a switch. Do not connect the battery with the switch on.

ACTIVE SKIMMER

Submersible pump for the recovery of LNAPL

The active skimmer is a submersible pump pneumatically driven which is specific for the recovery of LNAPL. The pump is equipped with a floating mechanism that allows the entry of only LNAPL, if it is present. The active skimmer consists of a reamer (skimmer) devoted to the separation of water/oil, equipped with a floater for the recovery with gravity. Another fundamental part of the active skimmer system is a pumping unit situated below the skimmer and useful to send the product to the superficie through ON/OFF cycles of compressed air (total fluid pumps). The recovery of product happens with gravity, indeed its efficacy depends on the combination of viscosity and initial thickness. Under the best conditions of viscosity and initial thickness, the active skimmer is able to visibly reduce the layer of LNAPL. The total length of the active skimmer is 180 cm, of which, 40,5 cm constitute the useful floating part.

PNEUMATIC PANEL FOR PNEUMATIC PUMPS

The pneumatic panel for pneumatic pumps allows the pneumatic system to carry out the ON/OFF cycle of compressed air.

The pneumatic panel for pneumatic pumps can be combined to various pneumatic systems:pneumatic pump total fluid top inlet 2” pneumatic pump total fluid top inlet 3” pneumatic pump total fluid bottom inlet 2”active skimmer.The pneumatic panel allows the pneumatic system to carry out the ON/OFF cycles of compressed air, fundamental for its proper functioning. The pneumatic panels for pneumatic pumps work thanks to the same compressed air that allows the functioning of the pneumatic pump/s connected to it. The electric power is not needed. The regulation of the ON/OFF cycles is accomplished by two rotary selectors situated inside the panel. The ON selector should be activated for a period of time that goes from 0 to 30 seconds (depending on the inlet pressure that should be between 2 and 5 bars), the same is valid for the OFF selector (0 to 30 seconds). It is possible to connect up to four pneumatic pumps to each pneumatic panel, in that case all pumps would have the same regulation of ON/OFF times. It is possible to increase up to 30 minutes the OFF times by adding a lung. There is a floating pneumatic valve (pneumatic level switch) that allows to close mechanically the pneumatic feeding circuit of the pneumatic panel in case, for example, of the filling of a storage tank.

PASSIVE SKIMMER

Submersible trap specific for the recovery of LNAPL.

The passive skimmer is a submersible trap specific for the recovery of LNAPL. The system is provided with a floating mechanism suitable to the fluctuations of the aquifer, which allows the entry of LNAPL, and a collecting tank for the product itself. The passive skimmer consists of a reamer (skimmer) dedicated to the oil / water separation, equipped with a float for the recovery with gravity. Another constituent part of the passive skimmer system is the collecting tank, located below the skimmer, useful to trap the floating product. The recovery of product happens with gravity; therefore, the effectiveness depends on the combination of viscosity and initial thickness. In the best conditions of viscosity and initial thickness, the passive skimmer is able to visibly reduce the layer of floating product. The passive skimmer must be manually extracted and emptied from the well. The total length of the passive skimmer is 180 cm and, of these, 40.5 cm constitute the effective skimming travel.

VACUUM PUMP 12 V

Air sampling pump.

The 12V Vacuum pump is a gas booster for the bleeding and sampling of air (both atmospheric air and soil gas). TECHNICAL DATAThe 12V Vacuum pump is a piston vacuum pump. It can work with the 12V Controller (mod. Hydrogea) that allows to vary the rotation speed of the rotor and therefore the flux of the vacuum pump. The aspiration system is equipped with a forced cooling system through a fan. Four suction sampling lines can be connected at the same time with the possibility of adjustment on each line. Three lines with  flow meter scales from 0 to 1 litre per minute, one line with a flow meter scale from 0 to 5 litres per minute. A sample outlet on delivery to the vacuum pump allows a possible analysis of the outgoing gases.The pump achieves the performance indicated on the table below only with a fully charged battery. Controlling that the positive ( ) and negative (-) polarities are respected is essential. It is recommended not to modify the cable length in any way. Do not use the vacuum pump in case of: pumping of liquids, presence of dust in the air (in this case the use of dust filters is suggested), use for prolonged periods of more than one continuous hour. USEBefore use, verify that the well, the line, the gas probe (soil gas) do not present any risk of liquid drafting by the vacuum pump.Place the case so that the lid is open and the flowmeters are in vertical position.Connect the vacuum pump to the power supply, always making sure the respect of the polarities /- . Choose a gas line (diameter 8 mm) for each flowmeter to connect and regulate each line flow. The suction flow varies according to the pressure drops (an increased length of the tube or the adding of an ampoule will certainly change the initial flow rate).

The electric panel for pneumatic pumps can be combined to various pneumatic systems: pneumatic pump total fluid top inlet 2”pneumatic pump total fluid top inlet 3”pneumatic pump total fluid bottom inlet 2”active skimmer.The electric panel allows the pneumatic system to carry out the ON/OFF cycles of compressed air, fundamental for its proper functioning. The electric panels for pneumatic pumps (IP55) are charged by 230V alternating energy and they can be arranged for one or more command lines. Each line is regulated by a solenoid valve and an ON/OFF regulating timer. It is possible to connect up to four pneumatic pumps to a single line; in that case, each pump would have the same regulation of the ON/OFF times. Hydrogea predisposes all panels with a Tank Full contact that closes the solenoid valve/s in case, for example, of the filling of a storage tank. The regulation of the ON/OFF times, that open or close the 230V solenoid valve, positioned outside the panel, is implemented by a double ON/OFF rotary selector. The compressed air that feeds the pneumatic pump is connected at the entry of the solenoid valve, whose exit is connected to the entry of the pneumatic pump. The cyclic and repeated action of opening (ON) and closing (OFF) of the solenoid valve allows the pump to function. The regulation of the ON/OFF times depends on the flow desired. Hydrogea normally suggests ON times sufficiently short to empty the pneumatic pump.

PNEUMATIC LEVEL SWITCH

Level switch for pumping and storage pneumatic systems.

The Pneumatic Level Switch is used with pneumatic pumping and storage systems. It consists of a rod connected to a float that opens/closes a valve positioned on the delivery line of compressed air towards the pneumatic pump (pneumatic submersible pump top inlet 2", pneumatic submersible pump top inlet 3", pneumatic submersible pump bottom inlet 2") or towards the active skimmer. Thereby, even without electric power in the site of the system, the pumping is stopped in case of filling of the storage tank. The Pneumatic Level Switch must be positioned between the source of compressed air and the pneumatic panel for pneumatic pumps. The Pneumatic Level Switch does not require electric power.
